Android Wireless Application Development Review: The Best

Edmon at Toolbox for IT recently posted a review of our first book, Android Wireless Application Development. He says, in this blog post:
Android Wireless Application Development is so far, in my opinion, the best book for all interested in learning about almost all aspects of application development on Android.
Thanks, Edmon!

Any plans for an update to this book? I see the same recommendation elsewhere, but it's coverage stops at version 1.5. It would be helpful to see coverage up to at least 2.1.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Great question. The answer is: absolutely!

In fact, we're currently in the middle of updating it. We don't have a "ship" date yet, but our schedule is aggressive so we can get the next edition out as soon as possible.

In the meantime, our newest book, Sam's Teach Yourself Android Application Development in 24 Hours, has updated SDK coverage and targets the beginner Android developer.
